So I woke up this morning-everything normal...mostly. The time is 7:53amish and I couldn't remember if I had turned off my lights in the truck the night before. Follow the thought process--if I did turn off the lights, no big deal. Dot will start fine. If I didn't turn off the lights, the battery is already dead. Back to bed, I'll worry about it later. 8:12amish I'm awakened with the same thought-dastardly non automatic lights. (the plot thickens) I begrudgingly fall out of bed rub my poor tired eyes, and grab my keys, just in case. Head towards the door, turn the deadbolt, open the door and see...RAIN!! I love rain, and luckily Dot was parked where I could see her and the lights were indeed off. :) Stupid second guessing. The happiness was out joyed by the rain, which was very shortly out angered by the snow. Which brings me to the letter to Mother Nature.
Dear Mother Nature,
Last time I checked, the date is April 28th. Not February 28th. Let's get together and chat about your slightly PMStimistic ways this past season. I am very easy to reach, but the rest of the state will listen to you as well. Get it together please.
Sincerely, Utah.
On a brighter note, ha ha, I get to journey to the warm land of Phoenix next week for one day training, and also there is the IRONMAN 2 premier, then the four hour car ride to Idaho for the cancer walk in Idaho. Both of those states are much warmer at the current moment. Anyway, that is all for now. I'll be sure to post more blogs :) I rather enjoy it!!

Wal*Mart
So, I've just gotten off of work, and I'm at Wal*Mart...they usually have pretty clean full functioning bathrooms, correct? Nope!! Guess again. I walk in cause I really had to go, and there was a lady just a little before me, and she looks in the first stall-makes a face passes, same in the second and ends in the third. I walk past the first full of umm...crap...and tissue. Stall number two-full of toilet paper and a little more crap. The lady is struggling with the lock at this point-so I look in stall number four-and you guessed it, full of crap. So the very kind lady asks me to watch her door while she does her business. Turns out, that the only working bathroom in the said Wal*Mart, doesn't even lock because when they put the installed the lock and holster, they put them on crooked. And that is my trip to the potty at Wal*Mart. Moral of the above mentioned story-FLUSH THE TOILET!! Any way, life with my wonderful man is basically amazing :) I am more and more in love with him everyday. We are still both just working, but all is well in the Burnett home. Let's see, Jared is still doing the Taylorsville Orchestra, and I'm also teaching ballet and ballroom. I decided today that I miss dancing like a fat kid misses cake once he is on a diet. So I am off inspire little girls to have confidence in themselves, and fall in love with the rhythm of music, and moving audiences for years to come. TTFN!!

So, I was driving home from work yesterday, after teaching ballet and ballroom, and I was planning on going to ZUMBA, but had a thought to go home and see Jared :) It had been a really long day. Here is how it started, woke up a little late, about 6:45 got ready in a hurry, forgot my cell phone...I know, but it's how I talk to Jared all day...got to work, didn't have time for breakfast. So far pretty great right? Lunch time had to run errands for that night, teaching ballet and ballroom to new classes :) back to work which was great!! We ended up having grilled cheese Tuesday. After work, ran to Walgreen's to pick stuff up, then to the parents to attempt to burn a CD. Which usually would take a total of about 8 minutes. Only since today I was rushed for time, the internet didn't work, iTune's didn't work, and I couldn't find any blank cd's. So after that ordeal, I gave up, and left to teach at Midvale Middle. Got there almost on time :) to a cafeteria full of little kids and their parents. This was ballet, I really don't like when the parents are in the room, because the kids don't listen, so out with the parents, and time to start ballet!! Four little kids, a three year old, and three four year olds. Fun right? Yeah, entertaining little kids for an hour while their parents try to look through a window to see how their kids are doing. Two of them were the cutest little girls, the other two, decided to sit down and not do anything. Great hour. But we can't dwell on that, Ballroom time!! It's begining ballroom time :) there are 18 couples in my class, of adults that want to dance, and I have no partner. But have no fear, right? Keep going!! So we start with cha cha. This class was great, they caught on real quick, and had fun. Now, the hour is over, and I'm back to where I started this paragraph. I'm on my to ZUMBA, and I have a thought process that went something like this...I have just enough time to go see Jared real quick, then run to ZUMBA...wait, I really just want to see Jared, and sit with him, and be with him, done, not going to ZUMBA, I'll get my workout on Thursday. I pull up to the apartment, get out of the car and start walking to the house-I really can't wait to see Jared!! Then all of the sudden, he is right there on the stairs all a flutter, looking for his phone which he swears is in the truck. So I put my stuff down, we go search the truck. I insist his phone is at the school where he just was for orchestra. He keeps insisting it's in the truck. We go back inside to think about things...and I call his phone again. No answer. I keep telling him his phone is at the school, and he keeps telling me he prayed for help, I showed up, and I was going to help him find the phone. Then all of the sudden, my phone rings and he is calling me!! We answer, and his phone was...wait for it...at the school. Point for Kristen!! Keep in mind, that it is about 9:15, we head out to SLCC and get the phone :) We return home, and it is now almost 10:00. And it's just Tuesday!! I love my life. Basically what I learned from today, was that I need to listen to my thoughts because they aren't always just my thoughts!!
