Side Note

So this is just a side note, to update anyone who reads my blog. Jared and I have been married for one year!! It has been a crazy year, but I've loved it. Our car was stolen on Valentine's day, Jared saw the Grand Canyon for the first time, he got a grant for school, and our truck broke a few days before our anniversary. Great first year or what!? We had our second Christmas together, and Jared spoiled me. Not even joking. I can't try to deny it. He got me a beautiful cello, and I cried, a pair of earings and a super nice camera. It was amazing!! I got him some "grown up" clothes, and an iTouch. He loves it! He hasn't put it down since he opened it. Umm...other than that, we're just still working and going to school! It's a wonderful life. I'll continue to try to be better at blogging, but we'll see how that goes! :)

WOW!! Sorry it's been almost a month. Good thing I accepted this challange!! So number five is a picture of a place I've been. I've been a lot of places in my 21 years of existence, but this is one of my most favorite places. This is Yellowstone National Park. It is beautiful! The first picture is a hike I'd never done before. Mt. Washburn. We woke up at 4:30ish to get there before the sun, and a lot of other people. It was insane because there was a lot of thick fog. So about half way up the mountain, this was the view. We had come up out of the fog, and it was so breath taking! Then next picture is of Robyn and I about two minutes from the top. It was a very long hike, but very worth it. :)
Yellowstone is a majestic place, and I'll continue to visit. Even though it looks almost exactly the same, the feeling of something more is worth it.

F*O*U*R

A habit I wish I didn't have. I wish that I didn't tell meaningless stories sometimes. I don't know why I think they are important, because they usually aren't, but I fell it is important to tell them anyway. I'll give you an example. Today I almost slipped because of the ice, but luckily I didn't because I hit the curb with my other foot. See, completely pointless but it is a story that I would share with almost anyone because I feel it is worth sharing. So that is the habit I wish I didn't have.

So this is a blog about my friends. These are my friends that I have recent pictures of, but I have many friends. They are also in no particular order. I love you guys!! And yes I might be an "I love you slut." The first one is of my mom, she is my best friend and someone I look up to. She is my hero and example. I love her soo much. There is so much more to say about my mom, but I will tell her in person. :) Jared. He has been my best friend since high school, and then we fell in love. I am married to the man who became my best friend a long time ago. I love him with all my heart, and I am grateful I get to spend eternity with him by my side.
This one is of my sisters. I love each of them so much, and for so many different reasons. I couldn't try to explain it, but it is just there. I can go to any of my sisters for any thing. I am lucky to have five best friends in my family!!
Cyndi and Melissa, also known as 6, David, 6yndi, Pookie, M3W, Pooks-the list goes on. Thank you so much for your friendship. You have been with me through so many adventures, and crazy times. I love both so much!!

One of the best things of living in Utah is that we get four seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. I love all of the seasons for different reasons. Spring because of the newness of the state, the beautiful flowers, the freshness that it brings. Summer because it's summer, and who can complain about that, right? Autumn because there is nothing like watching the mountains transform right before your eyes, and the weather cool down. Then there is winter. Winter brings family times, a few holidays and that whit stuff we call SNOW. That's right Utah, it's that time of year once again. It gets colder and starts to rain, and before you know it, SNOW!! And then comes my favorite part. We forget how to drive and act as if we've never seen the stuff before in our lives. Now I understand if you've never seen snow before, after all, it is magnificent! But for all of us who have lived here for more then on winter season, we know what snow is. It never ceases to amaze me how many people freak out when it first snows. Hello!! We live in Utah, it happens here. Every year, around the same time. I'm not sure what everyone freaks out about. It's not like it's going to randomly not be winter. Pull it together Utah!! We knew it was coming. Man up and deal with it. Now that I got that out there. Enjoy the season, and don't let the moments pass you by!!

So I'm going to talk about dance-why I dance, why I teach, how I feel. When I tell people I dance, and tell them ballroom-they usually respond quickly with something about the guys being gay. I don't know why this upsets me so easily. I know that there are gay dancers, but it still gets me. I usually respond with they choose to spend hours on end in close physical contact with beautiful girls. If they ask about ballet, they say that isn't dancing. To all of them I say, most people can't do what dancers do. Most people can't exert that much energy, time, tears and dedication. Dancers are athletes just like football and basketball players. We just take it to the next level and put emotion and feeling into what we do. We have the ability to tell beautiful stories if we choose. To make a difference in others life. To bring a little bit of joy to the world. So if you are a dancer-just remember this nice little quote that I found. "Because I dance doesn't mean that I am weak. It doesn't mean my "sport" is un important, because we dancers use tights and pink tutu's. Because we're dancers, we sweat and we work. Because we're dancers simply means one thing; we work until we cannot work anymore. we work until our feet bleed, and our muscles are torn. True athletes work until they simply cannot anymore, and that is what dancing is all about." Don't let anyone put you down about your sport, you athletic ability or you passion in life. Keep on dancing and making the world a better place.
I teach because I love dancing. I want to let others experience the love I have, and hope that they love it too. I teach because there is nothing like watching someone accomplish what they set out to do.
Dancing to me is a way to express how I feel when I cannot use any words. It is an escape, and a release. There is nothing like putting all of your emotion on the line, listening to the audience, captivating minds.

Quick Up-Dates

Since I last really blogged, a few things have happened. Jared started school, which I am very grateful for, but at the same time I miss spending time with him. He is also doing the Taylorsville Orchestra again, and I can't wait for their first concert! We had a General Conference, which was great. It is always a great time to evaluate ones life, which is what I'm in the middle of doing, so I'll let you know how it goes :) I've started teaching dance again, and I love it! There is something incredible that comes from teaching someone else something that you love. But that is a blog in and of it self! Watch for it!! We are also working on a new living situation-not that there is anything wrong with the one we've got now, just thinking :) I'm also thinking about going to school for real this time...at SLCC. So I will also keep you posted on that. There are a lot of on goings on in my life, and I wouldn't go labeling them good or bad...but there are definately a lot of things going on. I'll be better hopefully!!

*Fall Festivities*

Fall brings so many new things. Cooler nights and hints of frost, watching the mountains change colors, wearing sweaters! A new school year-Jared will be going back to school at the LDS Business College and we will both be working. I am so excited for him to go back to school! The only downside will be not getting to spend as much time with him. While he is in school, I'm also going to be teaching dance again. Oh how I love teaching dance :) and I get paid to basically have fun for four hours a week! With school starting, we also get football!! The first college football game was between the U and Pittsburgh. The U won which was fantastic! Jared and I are huge...HUGE University of Utah fans :) so we were pretty excited that they won! We got to enjoy the game-or I did with Andrew and Jodi and their kids. We went over to their house to celebrate Andrew's birthday, but Jared got called to work and missed out on most of the night. We ate cake, and played Phase10. It was a blast!! Not only college football, but we've got the NFL! Oh boy! I'm excited to follow my team and see how far they go. Good luck boys!! And last but not least, the holidays are just around the corner! We're quickly approaching Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's! Now even though I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween, I love the decorations-so I tolerate it. Thanksgiving is wonderful because we get to spend time with family. Which is much more special with fantastic food! Then-not a holiday celebrated by many-our one year anniversary!! YAY!! A few weeks later Christmas, and then an entire New Year! Now I know that there are other holidays out there, but for some reason, these are my favorite. Don't tell the others! They might get jealous and start a rebellion! And we just can't have that happening ;)

Summer Adventures

My favorite little beach :) Summer time has come almost to an end. Friends are going back to school, and Jared starts soon too!! He is pretty excited :) I'm happy for him as well, but I won't get to see him as often. With all the people at work who are in school, I work the earlier shifts, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll be teaching dance, and Jared has school late Tuesday and Wednesday. So Goodbye Jared time! I'll see you in December and on the weekends :) As our last summer adventure, I'm taking Jared to see Crazy For You down in St George. It's the weekend before he starts school, but then probably not many vaccations after that. Looking back at our summer-we had some great times. Our lake powell adventure, our Cherry Hills adventure, then our trip to California. It was Jared's first time to play in the water at the beach, and he loved it!! He even let us burry him in the sand :) It was so much fun! Thanks Jared!! I love summer time, and can't wait for it to be full on football season!! GO COLTS!!

Warning: This is the only picture I have with Jared's family...so it isn't really appropriate, but it works for the family picture. Also-JR, I'm sorry you're not in the picture, but you had to work... This blog is more of an "I've never" blog... So Jared and his family go to Cherry Hill every year for a family camping trip. This was my first year going-not only to Cherry Hill, but also with the family. I didn't really know what to expect, but I knew it would be fun. It is always fun when you do something with Burnett's :) For you who haven't been to Cherry Hill-it is a small water park, a mini golf course, and a camp ground. Simple and a lot of fun. We don't get to spend a lot of time all together, with everyone, so when we do it is a blast. Jokes are hilarious, and mostly crude...but still hilarious. (Disclaimer-I come from a family of all girls-Jared all boys-jokes and interactions are very different with boys) For example, we {girls} fight sneaky and with vengence; they {boys} fight to well, fight. Which brings out the crude and hilarious jokes. I love his family so much! Dinner was excellent, and mini golf was great-if you haven't been in a while, you should go. The jokes are endless!! Then talking around the cute little lanterns. I've also never done that before. But it was one of the highlights of my day, I love talking and listening and making memories like that. They are what we'll all have years from now :) Another highlight was riding down the Dragon slide. Every water park should have one, not even joking. But the best part, was being with Jared all day. That doesn't happen very often because we are both so busy we usually only get to see each other at night, and on Sunday's. Things to take away from this family trip- ~Cherry Hill is a blast. ~We need to get pictures taken with Jared's family so I have some of them as well. ~I'm even more in love with Jared and his family every day. Mission from this trip-should I choose to accept it-get family pictures taken with the Burnett's. I accept. Kristen, here we come!!

Pictures

Well hello!! I realized that Jared and I don't have very many pictures of us-so while we were at the Real game, I took this one with my phone, and I LOVE it! And that doesn't happen very often :) So I decided to share it with the world. This week was pretty good. Jared and I have always been really good at going to or watching movies. It is a pastime we enjoy together. On the radio I heard a statistic-the average American buys only five movie tickets a year. Let me use that example to tell you just how much we really enjoy movie goings. :) Movies I've seen in theater this year.
  • Alice In Wonderland-3
  • Despicable Me-1
  • Grown Ups-1
  • How to Train Your Dragon-1
  • Inception-1
  • IRONMAN 2-1
  • The Last Airbender-1
  • Percy Jackson & The Olympians; Lightning Thief-1
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time-1
  • The Sorcerer's Apprentice-1
  • Toy Story 3-1
  • Valentine's Day-1
Movies still to see this year :)
  • The A Team
  • Dinner for Schmucks
  • The Karate Kid
  • The Other Guys
  • Salt
  • Tangled
  • TRON Legacy

So...In total-if I see those movies as well, at least once in theaters, that is a total of 21 movie tickets. So I'm a little above average on this one :) But since when is that such a bad thing. Movies are just great!!

Doctor

So my friends-this week...I've been attacked by my own body. That is right, I'm sick. I thought it was strep throat-cough, runny nose, sore and swollen throat-so I decide to go to the doctor. Now if you know me, you know that I tend to stay away from the doctor's as much as possible. So when I decided to go-you know it was bad, or that I really didn't want to argue with everyone until the sickness that has overcome me goes away. Monday at work I start feeling not so great-Monday night, I get super sick, high fever, aches, chills...the whole thing :) Tuesday morning I'm feeling a little better-and by little, I mean, I can barely sit up, and I can't breath. So I call into work sick. Not cool, I hate doing that. I spend the whole day in bed hoping I get better, but not actually getting better, so I decide to go to the doctor Wednesday on my day off. So night comes and I still feel sick-not as sick but sick. I wake up Wednesday and like I decided, go to the doctor. I wait for about twenty minutes alone in the waiting room, then about fifteen in the exam room. They take the strep test, and tell me it's negative...but that I'm going to be sick for about a week-and that all I can do is rest a lot, lots of fluids and take over the counter drugs. Perfect, that is the reason I don't go to the doctor right away. I know that there isn't usually anything they can do but tell me to rest and keep taking the tylenol. So that is my doctor story for the year probably :) Other then being sick, life is pretty much amazing. Jared and I no longer teach primary-we were released on Sunday. I am now on the Relief Society board? I am pretty excited. Jared was called to be a ward missionary. Well that should up date all of you...I think...Oh yeah, I'm not going to school this fall...not enough time/money :( but Jared is!! Well I love my life and can't wait to get over this thing.

LiFe

My how the last year has flown by!! So a year ago, July first-Jared came home from serving in the Nashville Tennessee Mission. And a lot has happened since then, we got engaged, married, and both have jobs that we love. We're living in Murray, and still working. Jared is going back to school and the fall and I'm debating on going back to school in the fall. But I'd rather go back to dance, and school on line if possible. But good news is-I know that I want to be a teacher for sure :) I'm thinking secondary education-health/dance. Which means my major would be either nutrition education with a minor in dance. Or something like unto it. I just really love dancing and teaching. So I figured I'd combine the two and make it something I really love. Now I just have to figure out how to make it happen. Back to teaching dance. I got a job during the school year teaching ballroom and ballet. I am in love with it, but I need to practice and I am down a partner. So I'm in the market-not only for a partner but for a teacher as well. So I'll keep you posted on my search :) Other then that, not much has changed in our lives. We're just living and loving life!! Fun fact for you-the average American only buys five movie tickets a year...I buy about15...so I'm above average? Just something to think about :)

SuMmEr FuN

The first full week of June, Jared and I went to Lake Powell and The Grand Canyon with my family. It was quite the week :) I learned my skin has an intolerance to the heat and sun, that Jared is an even more amazing guy then I remember, and that Oompa Loompa's do exist :) We got to Powell on a Sunday at about 6:00pm, and it was a nice 96 degrees outside, and that is when the fun began! It was our first day on the lake, and Jared was helping bring in the tube, and the wind was blowing and the waves were crashing, and one thing led to another, and Jared fell in and was attacked by the prop!! His foot got a super cool bruise, as did his arm, but it looked broken. (I should have gotten a picture of Jared's poor foot!!) We spent the next four days on the lake, hiding from the sun in my case, and having a blast!! On the fifth day, we were tired, and the weather was not as happy as it had been, so we drove out the the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It is definitely a site to see. It was nice to have a day off of the lake, but the weather was not getting much better. So after a wedding (my cousin and her man got married Friday night, and it started pouring rain right as the wedding was supposed to start...) and night in the rain, Jared and Megg's and I decided to take another day off of the lake, and take a Dam Tour. This is when we discovered the Oompa Loompa's...or in our case...the Dampa Doompa's. If only I had taken a stalker picture of our tour guide!! Drats! Next time :) The tour was pretty cool, a lot shorter-no pun intended-then I remembered, but still good! We asked our tour guide how the dam would do in an earthquake, and don't worry-our wonderful lake isn't going anywhere if there is an earthquake!! Thank goodness :) Well...over all our vacation to Powell was awesome, and I can't wait to go back next year!!
I have started so many different blogs about the trip that we took to the zoo about a month ago, but I didn't have any pictures. Now I do :) I learned how to put them on this here computer, and I'm learning now how to put them on the before mentioned blog!! So about a month ago, we decided to go to the zoo. It was a lot of fun! I haven't been to the zoo in about four years, when I took Kaitlynn and her friends. It is a lot more fun in the morning when there aren't so many people. There was also a very cute little baby elephant. I love elephants, and this one was adorable! Very cute and playful, she made me want to play with an elephant. Too bad I can't!! I also took a very cute video of her and her mom :) While at the zoo, we also got to experience the train ride that lasts about two and a half minutes. No joke. After the train ride, we wandered down to discovery land, where Jared and Alan found themselves in a new life style... Aren't they cute? Over all, our outing to the zoo was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to make another trip later in the year, and maybe even with more people!!

Summer is nigh approaching...or is it, Mother Nature? What is the deal with the weather? I could have sworn on my life that when I woke up on May 24th it was spring, I would be dead. Good thing I didn't swear on my life isn't it :) Other then the baseball sized snowflakes that started my day, it was pretty great!! I got to work a job I love, then go to my brother's birthday dinner-he is now 30. I got to see the cutest nieces in the world and have some wonderful family time. Families are great, and it is so wonderful that the Lord gave them to us. Problems and all :) they are amazing. Something else that is amazing, summer time. Don't worry I promise it is coming-at least we can all hope and pretend it is summer time on the warm days that come in between the cold days. Maybe Mother Nature is trying to tell us that she has decided to change the order of the seasons. We shall now have winter from October to May/June, and summer from June to September...should we see if that is alright with Mother Nature? I've decided that it is what it is and we will all just have to get over it. Funny thing about the world, it has it's own little way of telling you things.

Cranky Library Lady

Yesterday I went to the library with Kat. I decided that I needed to get myself a new library card. Pretty simple process right? So I asked a very nice lady what I needed to do. She walked me to a computer, told me what to do, and then left me to it. I took my little piece of paper with a number on it to the front desk, like I was supposed to, and the next lady took it from me. I ran into a friend of mine, and we started conversing, the lady who took the paper from me said..."you can talk to her or I can help the people behind you." (in one of those "I'm better then you listen to me" kind of tones) she hadn't even tried to talk to me yet...so I said I'll finish with you. On we go, she was very smart and snappy with me. Not cool. But she gave me a card. Turns out, I've had one since 2001-which lady two so hotly told me. I then found the books I wanted to read, and went to the self check out desks, (turns out they all are) and follow the steps. Here they are just for you :) 1. Insert card into slot, or enter number on back of card onto touch screen. (done) 2. Enter pin. (The pin is the last four digits of your telephone number) Which is wonderful cause I've had several phones since 2001. I then proceeded to try about six different numbers. None of them correct. 2 1/2. Walk over to cranky pants and ask her what my pin is. Her response-"the last four digits of your telephone number." Thank you ma'ma, I've tried that...so I say, "My current phone number?" to which she promptly replies, "yeah". 3. Re-type card number, enter correct pin, select the books I'm taking with me, and call it good. Lesson learned from this library outing, the dark haired cranky librarian needs to chill, and the library is an overall amazing place :) That was my cranky library trip! Also, for those of you who don't already know, almost three months after Jared's car was stolen, the Murray City Police found it abandoned in an apartment complex a few blocks away. YAY!!

cHoCoLaTe

I was eating some delicious Dove chocolate, and I realized, that chocolate is a woman's best friend. Men have dogs, kids have each other-or imaginary friends...and women have chocolate. :) It is definitely a true statement. When a woman needs comfort, and doesn't have her girl friends to talk to, or no one understands, she will turn to chocolate. When she wants to celebrate-chocolate. When pmsing (yes that is now a word) CHOCOLATE!! So yes, puppies are adorable, kids and their imaginary friends are cute, but chocolate wins. That is pretty much it for chocolate. I just wish I knew how to insert a picture of it. Since I can't, just imagine one here of melted chocolate falling from a bowl. I'll figure it out one day! You are now craving chocolate. Do yourself a favor, get off your couch, or bed or kitchen chair and give yourself something wonderful!! So the adventures of this week-Monday...pretty normal, asleep by 9:30. YES!! Tuesday, work like normal, kind of crazy :)followed by a good two hours of teaching dance! Wednesday, I'm going to Phoenix for one day training, Thursday-a great day!! Hair, work, teaching dance and then...IRONMAN 2!! Friday, work early drive to Idaho. Saturday breast cancer walk with my wonderful aunt whom I love!! Then Sunday, drive home FHE and the Amazing Race Finale!! I'll be back more with another break through of life :)

April 28, 2010

So I woke up this morning-everything normal...mostly. The time is 7:53amish and I couldn't remember if I had turned off my lights in the truck the night before. Follow the thought process--if I did turn off the lights, no big deal. Dot will start fine. If I didn't turn off the lights, the battery is already dead. Back to bed, I'll worry about it later. 8:12amish I'm awakened with the same thought-dastardly non automatic lights. (the plot thickens) I begrudgingly fall out of bed rub my poor tired eyes, and grab my keys, just in case. Head towards the door, turn the deadbolt, open the door and see...RAIN!! I love rain, and luckily Dot was parked where I could see her and the lights were indeed off. :) Stupid second guessing. The happiness was out joyed by the rain, which was very shortly out angered by the snow. Which brings me to the letter to Mother Nature. Dear Mother Nature, Last time I checked, the date is April 28th. Not February 28th. Let's get together and chat about your slightly PMStimistic ways this past season. I am very easy to reach, but the rest of the state will listen to you as well. Get it together please. Sincerely, Utah. On a brighter note, ha ha, I get to journey to the warm land of Phoenix next week for one day training, and also there is the IRONMAN 2 premier, then the four hour car ride to Idaho for the cancer walk in Idaho. Both of those states are much warmer at the current moment. Anyway, that is all for now. I'll be sure to post more blogs :) I rather enjoy it!!

Wal*Mart

So, I've just gotten off of work, and I'm at Wal*Mart...they usually have pretty clean full functioning bathrooms, correct? Nope!! Guess again. I walk in cause I really had to go, and there was a lady just a little before me, and she looks in the first stall-makes a face passes, same in the second and ends in the third. I walk past the first full of umm...crap...and tissue. Stall number two-full of toilet paper and a little more crap. The lady is struggling with the lock at this point-so I look in stall number four-and you guessed it, full of crap. So the very kind lady asks me to watch her door while she does her business. Turns out, that the only working bathroom in the said Wal*Mart, doesn't even lock because when they put the installed the lock and holster, they put them on crooked. And that is my trip to the potty at Wal*Mart. Moral of the above mentioned story-FLUSH THE TOILET!! Any way, life with my wonderful man is basically amazing :) I am more and more in love with him everyday. We are still both just working, but all is well in the Burnett home. Let's see, Jared is still doing the Taylorsville Orchestra, and I'm also teaching ballet and ballroom. I decided today that I miss dancing like a fat kid misses cake once he is on a diet. So I am off inspire little girls to have confidence in themselves, and fall in love with the rhythm of music, and moving audiences for years to come. TTFN!!

So, I was driving home from work yesterday, after teaching ballet and ballroom, and I was planning on going to ZUMBA, but had a thought to go home and see Jared :) It had been a really long day. Here is how it started, woke up a little late, about 6:45 got ready in a hurry, forgot my cell phone...I know, but it's how I talk to Jared all day...got to work, didn't have time for breakfast. So far pretty great right? Lunch time had to run errands for that night, teaching ballet and ballroom to new classes :) back to work which was great!! We ended up having grilled cheese Tuesday. After work, ran to Walgreen's to pick stuff up, then to the parents to attempt to burn a CD. Which usually would take a total of about 8 minutes. Only since today I was rushed for time, the internet didn't work, iTune's didn't work, and I couldn't find any blank cd's. So after that ordeal, I gave up, and left to teach at Midvale Middle. Got there almost on time :) to a cafeteria full of little kids and their parents. This was ballet, I really don't like when the parents are in the room, because the kids don't listen, so out with the parents, and time to start ballet!! Four little kids, a three year old, and three four year olds. Fun right? Yeah, entertaining little kids for an hour while their parents try to look through a window to see how their kids are doing. Two of them were the cutest little girls, the other two, decided to sit down and not do anything. Great hour. But we can't dwell on that, Ballroom time!! It's begining ballroom time :) there are 18 couples in my class, of adults that want to dance, and I have no partner. But have no fear, right? Keep going!! So we start with cha cha. This class was great, they caught on real quick, and had fun. Now, the hour is over, and I'm back to where I started this paragraph. I'm on my to ZUMBA, and I have a thought process that went something like this...I have just enough time to go see Jared real quick, then run to ZUMBA...wait, I really just want to see Jared, and sit with him, and be with him, done, not going to ZUMBA, I'll get my workout on Thursday. I pull up to the apartment, get out of the car and start walking to the house-I really can't wait to see Jared!! Then all of the sudden, he is right there on the stairs all a flutter, looking for his phone which he swears is in the truck. So I put my stuff down, we go search the truck. I insist his phone is at the school where he just was for orchestra. He keeps insisting it's in the truck. We go back inside to think about things...and I call his phone again. No answer. I keep telling him his phone is at the school, and he keeps telling me he prayed for help, I showed up, and I was going to help him find the phone. Then all of the sudden, my phone rings and he is calling me!! We answer, and his phone was...wait for it...at the school. Point for Kristen!! Keep in mind, that it is about 9:15, we head out to SLCC and get the phone :) We return home, and it is now almost 10:00. And it's just Tuesday!! I love my life. Basically what I learned from today, was that I need to listen to my thoughts because they aren't always just my thoughts!!

Sneezing is usually one of the small highlights of my day, but a moment ago, I sneezed, and in the process, cracked my clavicle bone. Cracked is a strong term...lets go with popped? Yeah, that works, either way, OUCH!! I'm still hurting from a seemingly harmless sneeze. Geeze! Ha Ha I rhymed :) alright, moving on-so Jared and I were driving along, and I had an excellent though-things that make you go hmmm. So for the next five minutes of the drive we discussed things that make you go hmmm. For example, an old man with those old ghost white, shriveling up legs who chooses to wear super short shorts when running. Also, wearing shorts when its snowing like a blizzard out side. Just a few things that make you go hmm thoughts. Ok, well, that is pretty much all I've been able to thing about since the last point. I've noticed throughout the day I have random thoughts and funny things happen to me, but I don't remember them by the time I get home to for lack of a better word blog about my life. Oh, but this I remember, I love Jarritos-and Jared has re introduced me to tamarinda, turns out-I love it!! Well, I think I shall sign off now, and leave you with this random thought...live well and prosper. :)

My Mind is Scattered

I have been thinking about all the people I have met in my life, and the one's I remember, the one's I still talk to, the one's I don't talk to, and I've come to this conclusion. Life is to short to hold grudges, have regrets or let people go with out them knowing how they impacted your life. That being said, on to bigger and better things :) Spring has almost sprung!! I got to sit in the warm sun for a little bit last week, and I loved it. Spring is probably one of my most favorite season's. Of course I say that now, but I'll say it again in summer, and fall and even the first little bit of winter. Anyway, spring brings new life to the earth, it is a beautiful event. Listen for it in the morning, and at night. Take just a few seconds out of your crazy, busy everyday lives and pause to listen. You'll probably be surprised at what you hear.

Some People

Alright, so there are some people out there in that wonderful world, and I swear they just know how to push everyone's buttons. I have recently met a woman like that. She just knows how to get up in your way and be all annoying. Any way, there are other people in the same wonderful world, that can be so loving and helpful and giving they make you cry. I have also met some amazing people like that. Then there are the people that inspire you, for example, actor's-(Johnny Depp just did this to me, I have been into different colored eye shadow since I saw Alice in Wonderland.)who can inspire you to dress a certain way, listen to certain music, speak a certain way. People who can make you change the way you live your life, change the way you look at life even. Any way, the point of this story of mine is this...people whether you choose to believe it or not, influence your life, the way they influence it is up to you. So think about your life, and all the people that you know, and see, and let the ones you look up to, know that you do. On that note, thank you :)

The In's and Out's of Bloggins...

Well hello there :)I have decided to learn the in's and out's of blogging. With the help of my wonderful friend 6yndi, I'm slowly getting it. Turns out there is way WAY more to this than one would think. So I almost created an entire new blog on my way to posting this one. The point of this blog is to say to everyone how much of television addict I am. I should probably be in some sort of self help group...like television addicts anonymous. Any way, I have recently been introduced to the show "Marriage Ref" believe it or not, it's pretty hilarious. I'll set it up for you-picture this, three famous judges, (one is always Jerry Seinfield, plus two others) who listen to several couples who are having strange loud marital discussions. The three judges deliberate the couples discussion, and give the couple the decision :) and that is the basis of the entertaining show! Other then that, I am still addicted to television. On to bigger and better things...what is the deal with the weather? Was it intimidated by the snow monster? If so, I'm starting a petition to save the warmth of the world. And that my friends, is the end of my day two adventure with blog.

Hello!!

Alright, so I've decided to give in to the temptation and start up my very own blog!! Look at me go, all grown up and such :) Well, here is a little bit about the one and only Kristen Burnett. My best friend and I just got married, three months ago. We met five years ago, and fell in love-the rest is history! The biggest reason of creating this blog, is so that I can follow Jodi's blog. It's basically the best blog out there!!
